Surgery Recovery Client Story
This client came to us ahead of her upper blepharoplasty seeking guidance on how best to prepare her skin and support healing afterwards.
She had been considering the procedure for some time, having experienced long-standing discomfort around the eye area, including watery eyes and soreness at the outer corners. After careful research and seeing positive results from someone she trusted, she felt ready to proceed.
Prior to surgery, our team created a personalised pre- and post-procedure skin plan, designed to support the skin barrier, calm inflammation, and encourage optimal recovery. As with all surgical aftercare, we advised her to discuss the plan with her surgeon first, which was approved, allowing us to move forward confidently and safely.
Following surgery, we supported her recovery with gentle lymphatic drainage treatments to help manage swelling, alongside carefully selected LED and Tri-Wave facial treatments. These were introduced at appropriate stages to support circulation, skin comfort, and overall skin health, without placing stress on the healing tissue. She reported visible improvements after each session, particularly in how quickly swelling reduced and how settled the eye area felt.
Homecare also played an important role in her recovery. A simplified, post-procedure skincare routine was recommended, including Hypo21 to support skin hygiene and barrier integrity, alongside CMT Post-Procedure Cream to help keep the delicate eye area calm, hydrated, and supported during healing.
Now seven weeks post-procedure, her results continue to settle beautifully. This client’s journey highlights the importance of combining surgical expertise with professional skin support, clear guidance, and a structured aftercare plan.
